British pop sensation Ed Sheeran mesmerised fans with his live performance of popular singles at the Stadium Bukit Jalil last Saturday, which also happened to be the last day of Chinese New Year.
Known for his boyish demeanor and soulful numbers, Ed serenaded Malaysian fans of all ages who braved the sweltering weather to enjoy his exceptional performance. The megastar, who has sold over 150 million records, delivered every single with outstanding quality, not missing a beat or going out of tune. However, the highlight of the show was when the whole stadium sang along to almost all of his songs, as if they were the backup singers.
In addition to top hits like “Shape of You,” “Thinking Out Loud,” and “Perfect,” he also performed songs that he wrote for others, like “Love Yourself,” which was a mega success for Justin Bieber.
Ed performed under a bright moon and serenaded the largely filled stadium audience, who swayed to the rhythm from the concert opener by Callum Scott to Mr. Ed Sheeran’s last song.
