The President of the United States, Joe Biden has extended well wishes to the Yang Di Pertuan Agong and the people of Malaysia on the occasion of the 67th Independence celebration.
In a post on the US government’s official social media page, the President wished all Malaysians on hehalf of US saying ” I send my best wishes to you and the people of Malaysia as you celebrate the Independence Day”
Biden noted that Malaysia and US have enjoyed nearly seven decades of friendship and cooperation underpinned by a shared vision for a secure and prosperous future.
“Together we are strenghtening our strong economic, people to people and security ties” he said.
The US President also expressed confidence on the continued flourishing of bilateral relationship through their shared commitment for a free, open, prosperous and secure Indo Pacific region.
